The space

A private retreat designed for groups who want the luxury of space without losing the intimacy of connection. Two fully equipped homes, layered outdoor living areas, and carefully curated details create the feeling of your own boutique resort in the heart of Austin.

The Front House

Step inside to an open kitchen, dining area, and light-filled living room made for gathering. On the ground floor, you’ll find the primary suite with a king bed and ensuite bath, plus a stylish half bath for convenience. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms – 2 with queen beds and 1 with twin beds – along with a shared full bath. A full kitchen, washer, and dryer finish out the home.

The Back House

Set just beyond the shared yard, the guest home offers its own full kitchen, living space, washer, dryer, and 2 bedrooms – one queen and one with twin beds – plus a full bath. It’s ideal for extended family or friends who want a bit of privacy while staying close. This home also has it’s own washer and dryer, making this home completely self-sufficient.

The Shared Yard

Between the 2 houses, you’ll find the centerpiece of the property: a heated and chilled pool surrounded by lounge chairs, a gazebo with dining table and fans, a large outdoor TV, a gas grill, and a ping pong table. This is where mornings stretch long and evenings carry late.

The Back Garden

Behind the guest house, a second outdoor retreat awaits – complete with another grill, a picnic table, cornhole, and an outdoor shower to refresh after a swim. It’s the more casual side of the home, tucked away for quieter moments.

The Feel

With 2 full kitchens, double laundry setups, and outdoor living that balances energy with calm, The Backyard Collective was made for gatherings that flow with ease.

And for convenience, a Tesla EV charger is available at the front of the property.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the entire property.

This home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties, loud gatherings, or disturbances. Please keep noise at a reasonable level throughout the day, and remember that after 10 PM no sound should carry beyond the property line in line with City of Austin regulations.

House rules

1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT – Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS – We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE – Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS – Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest’s stay.

5. NEIGHBORS – Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

6. PETS – We do not allow pets or animals of any sort. Any evidence of pets or animals will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $500.

7. SMOKING – Smoking is not permitted inside the property, or outside while still in the premises of the property. Any evidence of smoking on the property premises will incur an additional cleaning fee of $1,000.

8. VISITORS – Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.

9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING – Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

10. SECURITY – Guests must ensure that all doors, windows and gates are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

11. POOL – Swimming is at your own risk. All children must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool area. For your safety, no diving or jumping into the pool is permitted. Please do not run around the pool area.

Please keep all glass and food away from the pool, and clean up after yourselves.

Please keep noise levels to a reasonable level to respect our neighbors.

Do not tamper with pool equipment or attempt to adjust pool settings.

If there are any issues with the pool, or anything is broken and/or spilled into the pool, please contact us immediately.

12. BBQ GRILL – Feel free to use the BBQ grill during your stay, but if you’re unfamiliar with how to operate a gas grill, just let us know — we’re happy to help. Always make sure the grill is turned off completely after each use and never leave it unattended while in use. Once it has fully cooled down, please clean the grill grates and any mess left behind. This helps keep it in great condition for the next guests.

13. FIREWORKS – The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

14. PARKING – Guests may park in the driveway. Please do not park past the line painted on the ground. Free street parking is also available.

15. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS – Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests’ stay. It is the Guests’ responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Host’s ability.

The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

16. TOILET – Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.
