The space

The apartment, nestled at the top of a flight of stairs, is a two-story, urban retreat brimming with character.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by the spacious living room, bathed in natural light. Here, comfortable seating invites you to relax after a day exploring the city. Adjacent is the fully-equipped, open-concept kitchen, perfect for whipping up meals with local ingredients. Step onto the balcony from the living area for a breath of fresh air and a glimpse of East Austin’s vibrant scene.

The ground floor houses the two cozy bedrooms, designed with your comfort in mind, and two modern bathrooms, equipped with all essentials for a stress-free stay.

A flight of stairs leads you to an inspiring workspace with multiple desks and computer monitors – your private corner for focus and productivity. This level also hosts basic exercise equipment, allowing you to maintain your fitness routine without leaving the apartment.

House rules

1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT – Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by Guest Haus.

2. PARTIES AND EVENTS – We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.

3. NOISE – Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.

4. BROKEN ITEMS – Please inform Guest Haus of any damages or broken items that noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest’s stay.

5. NEIGHBORS – Guests must notify Guest Haus of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

6. PETS – We do not allow pets or animals of any sort. Any evidence of pets or animals will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $250.

7. SMOKING – Smoking is not permitted inside the property. You may smoke on the balcony or on the rooftop terrace. However, do not throw any debris on the floor or off the balcony/roof. Any evidence of smoking inside the unit will incur an additional cleaning fee of $500.

8. VISITORS – Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.

9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING – Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the building’s allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

10. SECURITY – Guests must ensure that all doors and windows are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.

11. FIREWORKS – The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

12. PARKING – Guests may park solely in the allocated parking spot, which will be provided with the check-in instructions.

13. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS – Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. Guest Haus does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests’ stay. It is the Guests’ responsibility to immediately notify Guest Haus of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Guest Haus’ ability.

Guest Haus is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)

*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.

14. TOILET – Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.

15. COMMON AREAS – Please be respectful of the common areas that are shared by all tenants, guests and owners of the units in the building. Do not leave trash or belongings outside of the unit and respect all rules and regulations.

16. EXERCISE EQUIPMENT – Use of the exercise equipment is at your own risk. Please use it with care.
